Singapore Math: Curriculum Progression
Singapore Math uses a spiral curriculum, which means topics are introduced, built upon, and revisited over time. You'll notice that addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are covered over multiple levels, progressing in difficulty (addition up to a sum of 10, 40, 100, and so on). This helps students to gradually build mastery in each topic and see how different math concepts are logically related.
The following summarizes the core topics covered in each level to help you see how the Singapore Math curriculum is structured.
